WSOAE Fall 2009 Show Awards

August 29, 2009

“Abstract Art” and “Contemporary Art” are additional categories for which cash prizes will be awarded at WSOAE’s fall show. All of the prizes are juried on the first day of the show, Saturday, September 5th and the awards are announced on the following day, Sunday, September 6th. All exhibitors participating in the first weekend of the show are eligible.

Art is submitted for consideration by bringing it to the Salmagundi Club  at 47 Fifth Avenue, between 11th and 12th St. from 9 AM to Noon on Saturday, September 5th. The Jury of Awards does its work from Noon onwards. The art submitted has to be picked up on Sunday, September 6th, from 10 AM to Noon,  at which time the prize winners are disclosed and ribbons distributed. Checks for the prizes are sent out by mail.

If you are an award winner, please make sure you stop by to have your art work (and yourself) photographed before leaving the Salmagundi Club. We want to post images of all prize winners on the WSOAE blog site, as we did for our Spring Show.
