Labor Day Show Fall 2010

The Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit Fall 2010 Show begins Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 4, 5, 6, and continues on the following weekend,  Sept.  11, 12.

Exhibition hours are noon to six pm on all days.

The show takes place on the sidewalks of University Place, from East 12th Street south along the side of Washington Square Park to Washington Place.

The show is now in its 80th year; come and be part of the tradition! The Exhibit is free to the public and features fine arts and fine crafts for viewing and purchase–paintings, graphics, photography, sculpture, jewelry.

Visitors can stop by the Information Table on the corner of 8th Street and University Place and pick up a free map and guide to the show. It lists all the artists and where their booths are located.

For something a little different, click over to our Facebook page and take a look at the “Coney Island project”  from exhibitor Paul Musaracchia. There is  a video showing one of the rides in motion!   Just click on the Facebook image on the right to go to the WSOAE Facebook page.

For information of public transportation, click on the Map of WSOAE Area, where subway stops near to the show are indicated.
